Bed Bug Rash Information

They may be small and invisible to the human eye, but man they can cause a lot of annoyance! Bed bugs are very common and some people respond much more aggressively to their bites than others. At night this creature lurks in the darkness and is ready to suck blood out of your poor body. While doing so it will inject a salivary fluid into your body. This fluid can cause horrible itchiness and red bumps can appear on your body (again, depending on how your body reacts to the bites - you may see small a small rash or very red rash appear). People who have an allergy can have their skin damaged quite badly which requires medication.

As usual with rashes, it's not recommended you scratch the affected area. This may feel great for a minute but in the end it will cause a worsening of the rash. Obviously scratching is never good for the skin as it damages the upper layer. If a bed bug rash appears on your body it could be useful to clean your body properly, and some antiseptic will help ease the rash. Whether the rash shows up shortly after the bite or after a few days, again, depends on your body's reaction to the bed bugs' bite.

Initially the bumps may appear like mosquito bites, but they will spread after a while. If more than one bump
appears shortly after the bite has taken place then more bed bugs may have been at work. Some information
about the nasty bugs themselves : They are very flat brown or reddish insects, normally about 0.5 centimetres in size. They are parasites and like ticks they live off a host's blood. Their bloodsucking sessions usually last less
than 10 minutes. Sadly for humans bedbugs can last for a long time without food which makes it quite hard to get
rid of them. Bedbugs are usually found in dirty places, however, just because your place looks clean it does not mean you are free from the torment of bedbugs. It's hard tracking them as they are so small, though if you find small black objects on your bed it may be their droppings you are looking at. Another sign of their presence could be small blood stains on your sheets, these are caused by their nightly blood feeding feasts.
